At Accusound,
our
aim is always to achieve better sound quality in
our entire range, when we release new models, and during the run of the
series.
Our new Theta Series is no exception. We
have been designing and
perfecting this new series for over 12 months, and have now released
the new
range which is better in all categories.
The
new Theta Home Theatre Loudspeakers
have been designed and developed in
Australia to give you the best quality at an affordable price.
The
6.1 and 7.1 receivers are becoming the standard, and sound quality from
these
receivers is constantly improving.
We
have designed all our components to give you the best result over the
entire sound
spectrum.
In
the new Theta Series, we have
changed from the traditional Bi-Wire speaker
connections on front speakers, to single inputs, and made improvements
to the
crossover network which controls each individual speaker component.
This has
dramatically improved the sound quality and separation between the
woofers,
midrange and tweeters. It has given us the edge in bass response, clear
vocals
and instruments, and smooth top end response which many other brands do
not
consider important.
All Accusound
Theta Series Loudspeakers come with a 5 year parts and labour
warranty.
FRONT SPEAKERS
 The TH
100
is a compact floor standing loudspeaker system that has been designed
for
classical to middle of the road music. This speaker is fitted with 4 x
165mm or
6” drivers with a 25mm or 1” soft dome tweeter. The crossover network
has been
designed to give full bass to the bottom 2 woofers and limit the bass
to the
top 2 woofers to enable us to get better midrange to control voice. The
speaker
is braced side to side and top and bottom to stop and box vibration.
The TH 200 is a floor
standing speaker system that will handle 200 watts. The
speakers are fitted with 2 x 200mm or 8” drivers in the lower section
of the
box. The top section is separated internally, and houses 1 x 165mm or
6”
Midrange, and a 25mm or 1” soft dome tweeter. By having a separate box
inside
the cabinet, we can control the midrange and not have any interference
from the
2 bass drivers. This gives you clear voices and smoother top end
response. This
box is braced in sections from front to back, side to side and top to
bottom.
CENTRE SPEAKER
The THC
is designed for
speech and vocals. Many centre speakers have too much bass
response. This clouds the speech. We have designed our centre to
produce clear
speech, by designing the components to be used in a sealed box. You
will be
able to hear every word at low or high volume. The THC comes fitted
with 2
hanging clips to mount on a wall if you have a wall mount plasma or
projector.
REAR SURROUNDS
The
THR have been designed
to produce rear effects for movies, and also give solid,
full range sound for CD’s or music DVD’s. They come with a single
hanging clip
for easy wall mount. You can purchase extra single speakers to turn
your 5.1
into 6.1 or 7.1 systems. Other companies use a conventional centre
speaker for
6.1 as a centre back, but through years of testing, we have found using
a rear
surround will give you a far better spread of sound across the back of
the
room.
All
our speakers are fitted with Gold Binding posts with large holes for
good
quality cable or Banana plugs.
POWERED SUBWOOFERS
With
this new series, we have given you the choice of a compact TH 200
subwoofer that
has a 200 watt CE approved amplifier or you can upgrade to the TH 300
larger
subwoofer which has a 300 watt CE approved amplifier.
Both
subwoofers can be placed anywhere in the room, and have a volume,
crossover and
phase controls to set and forget. There is a low level input for your
receiver
to plug in via a RCA subwoofer lead and an output to run a second
subwoofer for
those people who want extra bass in large rooms.
TH 100/200 SYSTEM
or TH
200/200 SYSTEM
Put the TH
100 or TH 200 fronts together with the THC centre,
the THR
surrounds and the TH 200 subwoofer
will give you a fully balanced sound. The TH 200 subwoofer is a
compact
design, 200 watts. It will give you low frequencies that will shake the
floor
boards and rattle the windows! The controls enable you to place the sub
anywhere in the room. You can choose between Maple, which will go with
most
furniture, or traditional Black finish

200/300 SYSTEM
Using
the TH 100
or TH 200 fronts, THC centre
and the THR surrounds with the TH 300 subwoofer that
produces 300
watts will give you extremely low frequencies. You'll feel like you’re
in the
movie, or standing on the stage with the band... Again, the controls
enable you
to place the sub anywhere in the room. As with any of the Theta systems, you can choose
between Maple which will go with most furniture, or traditional Black
finish.
