Wow- you weren't wrong.
I recently purchased the Delta 895's and 2 pairs of the 825's plus the DL165 centre and of course that work of art the SW-250 subwoofer.
I took Friday off as a recreation day to set it up and man was I impressed when I got these babies out of the box.
The finish and workmanship on each speaker is A class.
I have previously owned the accusound 7.1 Omega 800 series which I have sold to a work colleague with my amp who is starting up his home theatre after he over heard me talking about selling my system so I could upgrade.
The OM-800 were very well built as well and they had a very good sound quality.
But it was my desire to purchase a premium speaker pack which lead me to many week- ends of auditions of various well known products such as VAF , Wharfdale's, Jamo ,Krix and JBL amongst the many. I deliberately left the Delta's till last and as the saying goes they sounded superior to all those which I had auditioned.
The sound seemed to be one which delvered well balanced bass and crispy mid to high range sound in music reproduction. The SW-250 blew me away when the demonstration DVD was that of the ground cracking up in War of the Worlds. I can honestly say that many customers in the store thought a F-18 fighter jet had flown over the store at super-sonic speed. (Incidentally one very well known speaker manufacturer claimed that his speakers do not require a powered sub-woofer and he failed to convince me despite turning up the amp in the standard "ground cracking up" scene in War of the Worlds.)
Well I am in the process of "breaking them in" and have enjoyed the day listeng to MMM at medium volume as well as the Eagles and ELO and Shania Twain in concert.
I just look at them and I am in awe of the quality of the sound I am getting especially from the DL895's and the large DL825's which I have as my surrounds and rear surrounds.
And yes that subwoofer looks and sounds so impressive in my very large family/home theatre room.
I am told the sound will improve dramatically afer 30 hours of playing Pink Noise through the system and I dare say it is something I am looking forward to just in time for Christmas.
It's early Sunday morning and I have had friends over who absolutely were gob smacked at the appearance of the Delta's and the sound that is coming out of a speaker which is in the early phases of being run in.
PS they are powered by the Pioneer VSX1015s a/v receiver which incidentally won the prestigous EISA (European Image ansd Sound Award) best receiver 2005/06.
I am a very fussy person when it comes to sound and the Delta's I have purchased from you are the best value for money high end speakers on the market today.
I recommend them to everybody and my friends are taking a serious look at including them on their shopping list.

Just some feedback on my purchase, after doing the rounds of just about every audio shop in my local city of Brisbane I could not find a better
sound for my money, I tried all the competition, Jamo, JBL, Wharfdale, Harmon Kardon, listening to all the speakers and the so called "expert
advice" that goes with the demonstration to justify the price of each speaker set.
All I can say is you don't have to take out a second mortgage to get a great set of speakers, I bought an Accusound 6.1 OM-800 speaker set. They are powered by an Onkyo TX-SR702 receiver, and right out of the box the speakers looked well made and sounded great.
For the first time I years I just sat there amazed at the things I had never heard on some of my CD's, fingers sliding across the guitar fretboard, while listening to Eva Cassidy's "SongBird" from the first track each string plucked filled the room, clear crisp tones and a rich bass, her voice crystal clear, shut your eyes and she seemed to be in the room singing live.
I originally set the speakers up in 5.1 thinking that would be as good as it could get, watching "Master & Commander" chapter 4 (the 18lb gun scene) the first impression was "WOW" my whole chest cage felt every cannon ball as it bounced across the ship!
I then tried 6.1 and put the extra speaker behind my sofa and played the same scene again, this time ducking as the cannon balls bounced in front of me and then over my head! splinters of the ship falling all around me, rigging and falling masts making me move out the way! it was if they were going to fall and hit me as the sound danced from one speaker to the next around the room.
After demonstration the same movie scene to a friend that came over I watched the same reaction... then a smile as they turned and said "Why would you ever go out to a cinema?" ( This is now a party piece when guests come around and ask what my surround sound is like, I get the same smile comment each time).
Watching "Star Wars III" intro scene as they battle in space it feels like you can reach out and touch the space craft as the pass from one side of the room across the sofa to the other side.
When it comes to speakers I can honestly say "Accusound" are right up there with the best and would recommend anyone to include them before making their final choice on what to buy.
