The new Signature Series has been designed and developed in Australia, which will ensure a continuation of the worldwide standard of excellence that Accusound has become renowned for. 

Accusound has been working to create a “new generation” type of sound for movies and music that you can hear and feel.  Many speakers produce bass and treble but don’t give you the power and serge that is required for music and modern formatted movies. 

Many speakers don’t have a good balanced sound between the front, centre and rears. It is critical to have good sonic balance and consistent tonal blend. All Accusound Signature Series speakers are tone matched for perfect sonic balance.

Each Loudspeaker in Signature Series Reference 8.3 series boasts a
huge power handling capacity of 180 watts RMS and will suit all the new Digital receivers, handle the extended frequency response delivered by modern DVD players and the latest software.

The Reference 8.3 Main Speakers boast extended bass response, clear vocals and crisp well defined highs. You will hear deeper, more defined bass and clearer more defined vocals.

Each Reference 8.3 Main Speaker has 2 x 200mm “Next Generation” Bass Drivers for excellent bottom end response. The Upper and Mids are now reproduced by a cleverly designed and very efficient 150mm Mid-Bass Driver / 25mm dome tweeter combination to produce clean, smooth top-end.

Each Reference 8.3 Main Speakers has been engineered with Bi-Wire Gold Terminals. Many of the Higher quality receivers now allow two sets of speaker wire from the receiver to each speaker.  Remove the Gold low and high level connectors and connect one set of wires to the bottom and one set to the top terminals. The bottom terminals run the two bass drivers and the top terminals run the tweeter/midrange combination. This will produce cleaner sound.

All Signature Series Speakers have high quality gold plated binding posts that will accept large diameter speaker wire or Banana Plugs.

The New and much larger Reference 8.3 Centre Speaker has been engineered using
 2 x 165mm “Next Generation” Bass Drivers and a 25mm Soft Dome Tweeter identical to Main Speakers. This 2-way speaker system gives you extended bass response, clear vocals and crisp highs. Comparing these speakers to other brands you will hear deeper, more defined bass and greater definition in the vocals and highs.

The centre is a very important part of a Home Theatre system. It has to deliver clear speech but still give you good bass and treble. On Dolby Pro-Logic, Dolby Pro-Logic II, Dolby Digital and DTS the speech comes mainly from the centre speaker. The Reference 8.3 Centre Speaker delivers clear detailed speech, good vocals from music and bass effects from movies. This speaker is "Shielded" against colour distortion transmitted from the magnets to your TV tube.

The New and much larger Reference 8.3 Rear Speakers has been engineered using a “Next Generation” 165mm Bass driver and  25mm Soft Dome Tweeter identical to Main And Centre Speakers. This speaker has been designed to give you all the effects from movies and still give you detailed sound from music on DVD, Video, FM and CD's. Many new receivers have an "all channel stereo mode" for CD's. The Reference 8.3 Rear Speakers can handle the frequency response and power created in this mode. 

The Reference 8.3 Signature Series Subwoofer completes the Accusound Reference 8.3 Home Theatre System. This will give you low frequency effects from movies and added deep bass that no ordinary speaker can deliver at normal levels for movies and music.

The Reference 8.3 Subwoofer has a built in 180w RMS amplifier with volume, phase and frequency adjustments. It also has an "Auto" on/standby which enables it to turn on automatically when a signal is delivered and turn off after 20 minutes when no signal is delivered.

The Reference 8.3 Subwoofer is now fitted with both low-level in and low-level out RCA sockets for multiple configurations. It has been designed using a “Next Generation” front firing 250mm (10”) Long Throw High Power Sub-Bass Driver that delivers extremely deep and powerful low frequencies.
